The 2022 Romania Muscle Fest Pro is set to take place in Bucharest, Romania, on the weekend of Nov. 11-13, 2022. Nine of the IFBB Pro League’s 11 divisions will be represented in this contest. The only two divisions absent are Women’s Fitness and Men’s Wheelchair. As with every other contest so far in the 2022 season, the winners will qualify for the 2022 Olympia Weekend, which will take place on Dec. 16-18 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, NV.
The primary significance of this show, in particular, is the Men’s Open division. This contest represents the season’s final show before the Olympia qualification cutoff date of Nov. 20, 2022. No athlete in this lineup has qualified yet, so whoever wins will be the last champion to earn their way onto the big stage in Las Vegas. The full lineup of this show is below:

Rising star Brett Wilkin garnered much attention in 2021 when he placed second at the 2021 Chicago Pro to winner Hunter Labrada. Wilkin made his only appearance of the 2022 season at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, OH, where he finished sixth to winner Brandon Curry.
Instead of competing more often to earn a win or points, Wilkin took an extended off-season. As a result, all of his competitive eggs are in this basket. Wilkin must win to qualify for his first Olympia. That said, he’s working with coach Matt Jansen, and he’s the husband of Figure Pro Ivana Ivusic, who has Olympia experience. So, he is considered a favorite by many fans to take the win in this contest.
Enrico Hoffman
Hoffman is a rookie, but he’s proven competitive thus far. He placed fourth in the 2022 Tsunami Nutrition Cup Pro in October and the Europa Pro one week before the Romania Pro. Hoffman’s legs look large and powerful from the front, and he has a thick upper body. The issue for him may be peaking his physique by dropping water while keeping his muscles looking full. If he looks better than he did at his previous two contests, he and Wilkin will likely be battling for a victory.
Jan Turek
Turek was seventh in the Tsunami Nutrition Cup Pro contest won by James Hollingshead. He’s made gradual improvements since he made his pro debut in 2020, but he’s faced much more experienced competitors that have placed ahead of him. This is a show where Turek could potentially make the first callout. If he can, and he’s improved his look since the contest in Italy, a top-three finish is possible.

Olympia Qualification System and Pay-Per-View Stream
The Men’s Open will have their last contest before the Olympia, but the other divisions have one more week after this to earn their Olympia invites. Outside of the contest winners leading up to the cutoff date, the second through fifth-place finishers for each division will earn Tier 3 points on the Olympia Qualification System. Those points for each position are as follows.
Second – six points
Third – five points
Fourth – four points
Fifth – three points
The top three finishers in those standings for each pro division will also be added to the list of Olympia-qualified athletes. Wings of Strength will promote the contest, and they will have a pay-per-view stream available through Muscle & Fitness Plus at $34.99 for both days of amateur and professional competitions.

Outside of the contest winners leading up to the cutoff date, the second through fifth-place finishers for each division will earn Tier 3 points on the Olympia Qualification System. Those points for each position are as follows.
- Second – six points
- Third – five points
- Fourth – four points
- Fifth – three points
