Registration for the 2023 CrossFit Open began on November 17, 2022, which is earlier than when it’s typically started in the past. For comparison, Open registration for the 2022 season began in the middle of January 2022.
Despite historically opening up over a month ahead of the start of the Open, registration usually ramps up in the last week leading into the first workout. This year, the title sponsor for the 2023 season, NOBULL, created an initiative alongside CrossFit to encourage early sign-ups ahead of the Open’s Feb. 16, 2023, start date.

Any athlete who signs up at games.crossfit.com on or before Dec. 31, 2022, will receive $25 to spend at nobullproject.com. The $25 only applies to orders of $99 or more and will be emailed to you within 24 hours.
That credit can be used on everything from apparel to training shoes from the title sponsor for the 2023 CrossFit Games season. Anyone who signed up before the announcement of this promotion will retroactively receive the $25 credit in an email.

“The CrossFit Open is our favorite time of year,” Todd Meleney, Chief Marketing Officer at NOBULL, says. “We love seeing everyone come together to officially kick off the CrossFit season, and we are excited to support the community that has been so supportive of NOBULL from the beginning.”
NOBULL’s CrossFit Games History
NOBULL, an athletic footwear and apparel brand, has been around since 2014 and became the title sponsor of the CrossFit Games in 2021. And in April 2021, the company raised new funding that put its total valuation at just north of $500 million.
In addition to sponsoring the Games, the brand also sponsors a number of CrossFit’s biggest stars, including Mal O’Brien, Willy Georges, Justin Medeiros, and six-time Fittest Woman on Earth® Tia-Clair Toomey.
The 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games will return to Madison, WI, on the week of July 31 through Aug. 6.
