Supplement company Podium Nutrition announced the addition of CrossFit superstar Brooke Wells to its athlete roster on Monday, February 13, 2023. The addition of Wells is a continuation of the company’s commitment to the CrossFit community by bringing in one of the sport’s most popular athletes.
“We’re proud to have Brooke on the PODIUM® team,” company founder Paul Haverland wrote in an email provided to BarBend. “She embodies the very best qualities of our community and sport.”
Wells also chimed in, saying she’s “excited” to be a part of Podium.

“Working with a company of like-minded athletes and performance-based products is so important to me,” Wells wrote in an email provided to BarBend. “Over my career, I’ve had the opportunity to partner with many companies and what I’ve learned is that building something special is what fires me up most! I’ve seen Podium grow in our community over the last few years and I can’t wait to get to work with this team!”
In addition to Haverland, Podium Nutrition is co-owned by five-time Fittest Man on Earth® Mat Fraser and award-winning CrossFit documentarians Heber Cannon and Marston Sawyers, also known as the Buttery Bros.
Who Is Brooke Wells?
The 27-year-old Wells isn’t just one of the most gifted athletes in CrossFit — she’s also one of the most influential. With 1.7 million Instagram followers, she’s one of the few athletes with a reach outside of the typical CrossFit community.

“We have been huge fans of Brooke since seeing her first event at Regionals in 2015 where she set a world record on the classic benchmark workout, ‘Randy,’” Cannon wrote in an email provided to BarBend. “Her journey since then has been like watching a rocket. We are honored to call her a friend and look forward to supporting her in new ways through Podium.”
On the competition floor, she has appeared at the Games every year since her rookie year in 2014 when she was just a 20-year-old college student. Since then, Wells has compiled four top-10 finishes in her eight Games appearances. And in 2022, she came back from a career-threatening elbow injury suffered at the 2021 Games to finish fifth, tying her career-best placing.
“Brooke has broken barriers, overcome incredible adversity, and has consistently proven that she is willing to take the hard road,” Haverland wrote. “She competes passionately, but always leads with a smile off the competition floor. We’re excited to partner with Brooke and to allow her to put her fingerprints on the brand and new products to serve our community.”
The Podium Nutrition Roster
Wells joins a robust athlete roster at Podium that includes reigning and defending two-time CrossFit Games champion Justin Medeiros, 2021 CrossFit Games Rookie of the Year Emma Lawson, four-time Games athlete Kelsey Kiel, two-time Games athlete Ellie Turner, and CrossFit content creator and British weightlifting champion Craig Richey. Podium also stretched beyond CrossFit with the addition of 2019 World’s Strongest Man Martins Licis to the athlete roster.
