CrossFit Announces Partnership With Chipotle for 2023 Open

A relatively unnoticed feature during the live broadcast of NOBULL CrossFit Games Open 23.1 workout announcement on Feb. 16, 2023, was the Chipotle logo on the competition floor and banners around the Caja Mágica Stadium 3 in Madrid, Spain.
On Monday, Feb. 20, CrossFit officially announced their a partnership with Chipotle Mexican Grill, one of the most popular restaurant chains in North America, in a press release emailed to media. Chipotle will be the official partner and the home of the official burrito bowl of the 2023 NOBULL Open.
Chipotle will be the presenting partner of Open workout 23.2, scheduled to be announced on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023, at CrossFit Bison in Midland Park, NJ. Additionally, Chipotle will partner with reigning Fittest Man on Earth® Justin Medeiros and Fittest Woman on Earth® Tia-Clair Toomey to feature their go-to orders exclusively on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com from Feb. 20-26, 2023, with a zero-dollar delivery fee.

“CrossFit athletes, no matter what level, are always looking for healthy options full of protein and nutrients to help advance their fitness journeys, and we’re excited about this new partnership with Chipotle for this year’s NOBULL CrossFit Games Open,” said Rob Vartan, VP of Global Partnerships for CrossFit. “Aligning our brand with one that’s beloved by millions throughout the world will allow us to reach new audiences and hopefully new athletes looking to improve their health through fitness.”
As part of the partnership, the two brands will launch a variety of unique Chipotle offers and rewards for members of the CrossFit community during the 23.2 live announcement. In the United States and Canada, the partnership will allow viewers to win buy-one, get-one entrees and access to zero-dollar delivery fees through the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com.
Athletes who place at the top of their division in Open test 23.2 will win free Chipotle for a year.
