Yesterday my Bro came up with the Idea that we change up the Leg workout. Ok I am game. So he say's we Supersquat, I heard the term before but never really paid attention. He explains (I am sure you all know already) you take your 8 rep max and you do it for 20 reps, deep breaths in between take as much time as you need, do 20 or till complete faliure. I figure I can do 315 for 8 with good deep form. Load up the bar, skip some rope for 3 minutes to get blood going and I am off. Bang off 6 with a quickness going deep, then slow down a bit for the next 4. I stand for a second some deep breaths, hit 2 more, take a break the shit is getting heavy, take some breaths and bang out 2 more and repeat. By 18 I am seeing dots from the deep breathing I feel like my shoulders are going to cave in. I got thru it, but damn it kicked my ass. Afterwards i did calfs and that was it. Today my glutes are killing and I know tomorrow is going to be hell. Can't wait till next week !!!
Anyone do this on leg day ?? Pro's/ Cons appreciated.
p.s. I know my squat weight is low, go easy on me.
