Tupac fo' sho', hands down. Rap has changed since he passed away. Now it's "I'm rich, you're not, bling bling money ain't a thing" bullshit rhetoric from every damn rapper that comes out. They're all just a bunch of sheep now, and can't come up with anything original themselves. Have you seen the rap videos lately? The girls are fine, but it's the same shit on every video. SUV's on 24's, throwback jersey's...sorry, got off the topic. Anyways, Tupac was the greatest rapper that ever lived, no question about it. His songs told stories, and his messages were powerful.

I think 2Pac. It has to be him or Snoop. Don't listen to rap any more though. I am more into the Disturbed or Godsmack kinda thing.
 
I have to say Em. Think about it. He knows he is pissing people off, yet they keep listening to see what is next. It keeps everybody comming back to see what he will say next.
 
Man, Tupac sang songs about his momma being a crack fiend.....no question that the best rapper of all times isn't even listed on the poll. I'd have to go with Guru from Gang Starr, PRT, Lord Finesse; so hard to narrow it down to just one. Eminem is the shit now, though. He isn't scared to say SHIT like most of the other would-be thugs are. Close second is Prodigy from Mob Deep....
 
its not even hard core rap anymore. i like the new style of hiphop, eminem is my fav, but i wana see where 50c goes with the next few albums.
