Damn, every damned year I get this shit bad. No matter what I do, I must be hyper alergic to it. I was cleaning the yard up on Saturday and Bam bigger than shit come Monday My arms are covered. I wear gloves, sweatshirt doesn't matter. I have to tie my hands to the bed post tonight so I don't touch my buddies while I sleep, nothing worse than poisen Ivy on the balls. I try every over the counter product available to try and stop it from spreading but come tomorrow I know it will be everywhere. I am one itchy angry bastard write about now.

I used to have that (pink) calimine lotion crap on me from age 3 to 15 because I got it so much. I must of gotten used to it or learned to stay away from it. I've never heard of someone getting it with gloves and a long sleeve shirt before.

I am tellin you Scorp, Then again I am not the carefulest guy, I messed up somewhere along the line

An old trick, might not work so don't come looking for me. Is to soap up your arms with heavy soap (bar, bath.) Don't rinse it off, let it air dry. When your done with your yard work, wash it off again with soap and water. Try it. What the hell.

Thanks bro, as of now I am thinking of dipping my arms in Gasoline and lighting them, should help ease the itching !!!!

That must be miserable Choke. For god's sake, don't spread it to your "down there place"...
When I was a kid I wiped my ass after taking a dump in the woods with the WRONG leaves. I was about 5 and still remember that!

I've never had it, thankfully... I've been exposed to it a bunch. That must really suck.

My mother got it so bad when she was pregnant with me that she was in the hospital for 2 days. The Dr says I have an immunity to it because of this...I can and have picked up handfulls of poison oak, sumac, ivy etc...never got a thing. The bad thing was that growing up I was always the one sent into the weeds to find the lost baesball etc...

Hit up the Dr. got a benadryl shot, some pills and Prednizone. This is like torture, shit is even behind my left ear !!!

luckily I don't get it either....I used to (don't try this at home) grind the leaves up in my hands to prove that I wouldn't get it.....aaahhh, the things we do when we're young

The clothes you were wearing still has the oil on them, if you haven't already thrown them through the laundry.

If you're still having outbreaks, it's because you keep touching something with the oil on it..
You don't hafta come in direct contact with the plant to catch it.. merely by petting your pet who has walked through it & has the oil on it's coat.. can give you the itchies~
