Just Supposing Oral glutamine is utter CRAP...

I take oral glutamine, and I'm sure the claims the supp companies make revolve around IV adiministration I am not convinced that it still doesn't work "somewhat" orally. I take it ED regardless just in case it does work, lol.

So, if they are administering this stuf IV then woudln't the same effect be possible IM? And if so why do no companies sell IV or IM glutamine; vet companies I mean. Because I take a vast array of injectable vitamins, minerals, amino acids, AMP, and ATP, but none of the amino supps contain glutamine...? What's up w/ that? Is it possible to make your own formulation??? if so would it work miracles???? who knows...???

post your thoughts if you have any,,,bigjosh

i have yet to try glut-- but from what i read, it didnt help people out much, plus glut is in all of are protein

I'm not sure why there isn't vet injectable glutamine.

I think that Glutamine is one of the main ingrediants in the IVs at hospitals. Not sure on that though.

Anybody think that the really truly hardcore would put in a Amino Acid IV at night when they went to sleep? You could get one of those machines and adjust your flow exactly like you want it. Why wouldn't they? Just Hypothosizing(sp)

I take glutamine because it is the fastest depleted amino acid in muscle during exercise. It also suppossedly releases gh on an empty stomach... but i'm on real hgh anyway. Some also claim it to be a cell volumizer. I use it for the fact that its cheap and MIGHT do SOMETHING beneficial. If i had to guess I'd say the main thing it does if any is help eliminate some post cycle muscle catabolism. IF you can decrease catabolism you increase gains. I openly can say I do not know if it works but have been taking it for over 4 years in addition to having it in all my protein shakes. I've put on 75 pounds of muscle in 3 years and five month and glutamine certainly didn't hurt.

Being a bb I want any edge I can have. If something doesn't work it does not mean it's a setback. It can't hurt to try. Money is not an issue here either. My dedication to the sport does wind me up spending most of my money on gear and supps but it's what I love to do and enjoy spending it on.
