4-5 weeks, no more gains...continue cycle???

A freind of mine has been on Test Enanthate (EQL) for about 5 weeks. He's gained about 10 lbs. He says he's been giving 90% in the gym and 75% on his diet. His gains have stopped (or slowed down recently), and his theory is that all the anabolic properties have ceased, and now it's all going to be androgenic?
I say continue the cycle, finish the eight weeks, but for what reason?

Who's right?

Why?

Agree 100% LA knows his stuff.
 
I agree-Have him up his calories and protein....90% in the gym is ok if your 100% on the diet.............My .02 is if he is saying 75% on the diet it is most likely worse!
 
absolutely no point in runnin a 4-5 week cycle...so what did he think in the 1st week or so when he didnt gain anything?
 
up the calories, up the workout intensity, and continue with the cycle. If you don't plan on giving 100% for a cycle then you shouldn't be planning a cycle.
 
yep, you've got to be mentally prepared for the whole time. If you plateau, you have to push through it. 5 weeks in isn't a lot considering the lag time in the beginning.
 
Test Enanthate doesn't really kick in till week 3 it's gotta be diet lacking I'd go for 10 weeks also with long acting esters.
 
hate to break it to him, but that is how long it takes test E to kick in for a lot of people.

tell him to stop half-assing it in the gym and diet. and eat more calories.
 
he won't see shit for gains unless his diet's up to par.....and it took damn near a month for me to feel enant

your friend's wasting his money unless he puts everything in place in terms of diet, training, and rest

I agree whit all of it if he is not giving 100% then he is waisting his time and money and could maybe even screw up his body buy just stopping his cycle tell him to up his damn food intake and give 110% in the gym ! get big or go home !
 
I agree...if he is bulking he needs to double those calories and make sure he is eating anything in site..and make sure he is getting enough protein in there as well, and his gains should improve!!!
 
I'm with all the other bros. Up the diet and intensity. If you're gonna do it, do it right.
