1st cyle the best?

I have read many times over that one's first cycle is always the best- in terms of strength gain, mass gain, weight gain, etc.- by far. For some reason I have a hard time swallowing that. My first cycle consisted of QV Test Enan. (500 mg/wk) 1-10 and QV Deca (300 mg/wk) 1-9. I gained a fair amount of weight and strength certainly (lost some of the weight and strength since my vacation only a few weeks ago), but I would expect to surpass those gains with my second cycle: QV Test Enan (600 mg/wk) 1-12, QV EQ (500 mg/wk) 1-12 and D-Bol (Bulgarian) 25-30 mg/ed 1-5 or 6. Am I going to be disappointed?

What is everyone's take on this "first-cycle-being-the-best" issue?
 
Bro, if you're disappointed pumping in 1300+ mg/wk of gear, then you're doing something wrong. God, that's more than double what I take.

You can always do another "first cycle".... just take a year off and start up again. Your body will be just as freaked out as it was the first time around.
 
I might have been doing something wrong (imagine that :D ) but I think my second cycle was as good or better than my first.
 
Huntergatherer, this is your fourth cycle and you're up over 20 lbs. already, with six weeks left to go!?! Good job, bro. What does your cycle consist of?
 
I think your first cycle would be the best if you were REALLY able to adhere to a strict diet and strength training regimen. I gained almost 30 pounds from my first cycle, but, most of it was water, and the TT sust I took was so painful I couldn't train my legs for almost a month.........I think it's hard to do everything correctly the first go 'round since you're experimenting with substances your body's not used to in those amoungs. It's hard to eat every 3 hours and train properly when you're wondering if some random ache or pain is some failing internal organ. I may not gain as much weight per cycle nowadays, but i feel like my gains overall are better
 
I read about AS for about 2yrs ED before trying them. My conclusion was that one's first cycle is his best so I decided to go all out and did an obscene cycle that yielded 40 pounds.

All subsequent cycles have yielded 5-15 pounds and have been hard to keep the gains from, Until a few months ago when I tried slin/gh/AS together. I have done several cycles now and when I started slin I gained like 20 pounds in 2 weeks. I am now up 37 pounds and this is probably my 10th cycle or so. I can't really count cuz my cycles sometimes end up merging...lol

So I think in general you get your best gains your first cycle but you may on your second too. Especially if you didn't do things right your first time. Remember gear is no substitute for hard training and dieting. On another note I think that one can get results similar to his or her first cycle when they jump into the realm of gh/slin, namely slin. Slin works fast and packs on mass. At least for me it did. It's definitely done the most for me out of any supp I've tried....,,,just my .02,,,bigjosh
 
1st and 2nd cycles were very close in terms of gains for me...

1st cycle gained roughly 32lbs, kept about 24lbs...

2nd cycle gained about 28lbs, kept about 22lbs...

Strength gains were much better on my 2nd cycle, but I did gain more overall size the 1st time around...
