MUCH BIGGER

I started using a new workout routine a few weeks ago and after I finish a set I feel like Im gonna be sick (puke). I started using really heavy weights (greater than my 1 rep max) and doing partials. IE...using the power rack to do dead lifts with the bar starting right above the knees. I start out with around my 1 rep max weight , doing several reps and go up fron there. By the end of my sets Im light headed and feel like Im gonna get sick. The local gym guru says that Im really taxing my body with the heavy overload and this is a natural response. Anyone else ever feel like this?

By the way Im seeing a marked increase in strength and size by doing this new routine.

Yes, Always after heavy squats and deads...........I see the little silver specks floating around my vision................

I get those floaties(as I call them) in my vision I thought it was just me wheeeew now I feel better LMAO

floaties...lol

I usually get those doing shrugs, dead lifts, and squats. Usually I feel like puking only on leg day...and sometimes shoulder/back day.

Makes ya know that you've really worked hard. lol.

Anytime I really strain and my bp goes sky high I see stars. Squats and Leg Press are the worst for it.

hypoxia (lack of o2) or severe lactidosis (high levels of lactic acid) both cause that sickness. Just breath and make sure to have enough rest between sets. You should be fine. Oh, if you want to feel better when that happens do not stop and sit....slowly walk around the gym...oh looking at women will also help...at least it helps the blood flow...hehe...TT

great info guys, I've been feeling a 'lil woozy here after my most recent heavy sets and it didn't really matter what I was working either
