Just helped a friend strip one layer of singles off a 30' ranch style house with one dormer. I respect the hell out of the guys that do this for a living, talk about a ass kicker! My lower back is killing me!
three summers ago I worked for an industrial roofing company, and let me tell you, if you can be a roofer, you can do anything in the world (phisically demanding that is). Its the hardest job I ever had, my hat off to them
I used to drive a truck for a fine metals plant. The Ovens in this place went up to ungodly temps. In the summer it would easily reach 120 degrees in there while these guy's humped raw metal material into the burners, they worked 15 minutes on 10 off all day long, covered in black sut. Tuff job .
