Blood in the syringe after shooting?

I always aspirate before shooting, but last night, after doing so and depositing all of the gear into my hind quarters- my Monday and Thursday routine- blood began seeping into the syringe. What gives?

Also, what would happen if one did not aspirate at all and ended up shooting the gear directly into a blood vessel? Other than possibly hurting somewhat, would the gear be any less effective? I wouldn't imagine so but I could be wrong.

If you shoot directly into a blood vessel count to 10. If you aren't dead be sure you are at least on the way to the emergency room preferably in an ambulance.

I've had blood in the syringe after shooting several times myself. If you have aspirated there is nothing to worry about. You could have just knicked something.

you'll be lucky to get to 10 if you shoot gear directly into your bloodstream.

I've had blood flow into the syringe after and injection a few times before also. Always aspirated before injection.

yep your probably just nicked something or pushed the pin through a vein, you'd know it if you injected into a vien.

Don't worry you still alive. If you asperiated and blood went right into the syringe DON'T inject.

By not responding to all of your responses, some of you probably were thinking, "Jesus, perhaps he DID inject into a vein." Whoops!

Thanks all.

Yep,

That has happened to me before as well...scared shitless the first time. As far as shooting into a vein though, you should probably have known that it can kill you...so keep aspirating!
