strange feeling towards end of cardio

I've been getting a kind of strange feeling 30-35 minutes into my cardio, the last 2 sessions. I go from being very hot, etc, obviously as I'm busting my ass on the cross trainer, to all of the sudden getting cold chills, goose bumps, and kind of a weird feeling in my head. I'm thinking I might be getting slightly hypo, which I guess would be a good thing, as it'd mean I'm depleted and burning fat I guess.

Anyone have an idea of what this is?

BTW, I'm drinking an absolute ton of water during my cardio sessions, so I'm not getting dehydrated.

I get that way when my sugar goes low. Chills, detached feeling, trembles etc. That could very well be it. Maybe keep some o.j. near you. I actually saw a guy pass out on a tread mill, he lost 6 teeth. Nasty.

Yeah bro, sounds like it to me. I'd get in touch with dp see what he advises.

Yeah, I was definitely feeling like it was low blood sugar. I guess the question now is is it safe? Isn't that kind of the goal? BTW, the same things happens to me when I give blood! Hmm, I wonder if it's low blood pressure?

Yeah, it happened last night after about 35 minutes (it'd been awhile since I'd eaten), and then again this morning after about 30 minutes (empty stomach, but had taken some bcaa's). I'll definitely talk to dp! BTW, both times I was able to work through it, though the feeling kept up pretty much till I ate something (I think, although to a lesser extent after I stopped my cardio).

hey dude, remember my post a few days ago about this.. Cold, hot, cold, hot and it's always after i get done lifting or get done doing cardio. You also taking QV prop right? as i am. Maybe there is a link  I've been finding myself having chills for awhile after i get home, what i do is take a nice HOT shower then take some sleep aid and passout by like 8pm and wrap myself up inside my sheets, eventually youll wake up too hot and your chills will be gone. I've had to do this the last 3 nights in a row.

NO slin for al....and al it is slight hypo I get that too when I train on an empty stomach....also I get hot flashes and shakes (clen) but as soon as I eat I feel better....last night I felt so bad I had to kill some carbs b/c my body was hurting so bad..so down went 6 low fat oreos and bout 6 tbl. of pb...I felt much better afterwards and I am doing high carb day today to see if my body will heal a little quicker!

Thanks, guys! dp told me to suck it up and work through it :D And to keep some pb handy!

And no slin for me

he told you to suck it up and work through it?

When this happened to me, lacey told me to have a piece of fruit before I went to the gym. Never happened again.

Yeah... my goal is to deplete all of my glycogen, and be burning fat... this is a pretty good indication that all my glycogen is gone! A piece of fruit would indeed stop it, but it'd be counter-productive to my goals

i guess this is the same reason i feel this way :)

I was told after im done drink a nice glass of orange juice, but then i said sugars and bad carbs right after a workout would spike the insulin level and that would be a bad thing.. no?

I HAD THAT PROBLEM FOR A WHILE TOO. ALWAYS RIGHT AROUND THE 35MIN MARK ON CARDIO.TRY HAVING SOME CRYSTAL LIGHT WITH YOU AND SIP SOME ALONG WITH THE WATER. THAT OR DIET SODA WORKED FOR ME.YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHEACK WITH DPSQT TO SEE IF IT'S OK

yah, but maybe you're depleting it *too* much and that's why you're getting those symptoms. Not everyone can go by a certain standard practice. Everybody's bodies are different and u need to listen to what your body is telling you. Youre *refueling* afterwards anyway. Just my opinion and saying what works for me.
