How do you get past---

the feeling of being lazy and not wanting to lift. I was just on vacation and took 2 weeks of. This was the only time I had off in the last year and when I got back into the gym I was weak, and not feeling in the usual gym mood. I want the intensity and fire back i my workouts. Any thoughts!!!
 
eca! music, take pics, think about/set some goals, go look at the member's pics section, make an appt with a photographer for 6 weeks from now (and pay up front)...

stackers, baby......I take two (OK, or three sometimes) and within 30 mins I'm running out the door
 
I lift in the evening around 5:30. About 5:00 I take that drink Speed Stack and all my motivation returns.
 
I just think about how I dont want to be a little weakling!!! Then I get off of my lazy ass and go to the gym and lift like my life depends on it.

No shit, all I have to do sometimes is look at my neighbors and I get motivated to NOT LOOK LIKE THEM.....lmao

I just remember that 3 years ago I was 135 and on crystal. Now I'm 205 and I dont do any drugs... lol... well, some but they dont get you high.. well kinda.... you know what I mean... BED TIME FOR ME!
 
I hated the way I looked most of my life. That's my motivation.

j/k. When I first started really working out (about 2 years ago after 3 years of on/off lifting) I was doing so to look better, but as time went on I began to set more and more goals for myself.

I started at about 155lbs 3 months ago and I'm now at 185lbs @ high 10's bf. My goal is 220-225lbs @ 6-7% bf by next year. Have a goal then pursue it.
 
man, a couple of weeks off and I can't wait to get back in the gym.

I think you are just sad that your vacation has ended :D

if I had 2 weeks off work, I would never make it back.....good thing I don't ever get a vacation.

The best motivation is setting the objective firmly in mind again
 
Change your routine up. Pick a goal. A goal is something realistic with a plan and a timeline, not- "I'd like to be as big as a house someday".
