Just a quick intro

I usually post at Bolex as they have a section devoted to the Aussie scene (I am an Aussie) but have been watching Skip's posts there with interest so thought I would check out this site.

For the record I am a succesful amateur competitor and have won at the national level level here in Aust with the NABBA Federation. Been training close to 20 years and competing since 1992.

Like the look of this site and will definately be dropping by more often so learn and contribute where I can.

Thanks guys, nice to be made welcome.

To respond to the questions put forward above, I live in the far North of Australia (were we really DO have crocodiles, fuckin big ones).

Its true we generally dont like Steve Irwin much as he is gregarious and brash and us Aussies prefer to see ourselves as a little more modest than that. It seems he has done well from his public fame though.

I have a number of good friends (Aussies) who are high-calibre BBers (most better than me) and we tend to hang elsewhere but I will definately be pointing them in the direction of this site as the crowd over here seems to be (as an Aussie would put it) a "fair dinkum bunch".

Nice to be on board and thanks again.
