Cardio in house

What's up guys. I've recently come to the conclusion that the less time I spend at the gym fighting the afterwork crowd the better. I would much rather only have to stop at the gym 3 days per week to perform my hit training than have to stop there 5 times per week in order to perform my cardio as well. Which brings me to my question. Where is a good place to find used cardio equipment? Any suggestions.

You can try a Play it Again Sports, but here it is cheaper to go to Sports Authority and buy it new.

Jumping rope is a hell of a cardio workout.

I have an exercise bike in my room at home (not college) that my family never used so I just put it in my room *not that I use it all that much*

Anyways, running is great as long as you won't complain about your knees or the weather. Plus, it's free.

Yes running is good but, I find that I train at a higher intesity and cannot keep my heart rate where I like it to be. Besides that I'm 240 and not into the pounding every day.

Jump roap bro, Hindu squats, Sprints aLL GOOD. I never do cardio on a machine.

Problem with jump roping is that if you do it outside of the basement or live in an apt, you'll be making so much noise and damage to the cieling anyone living in the same complex will pretty much get you in trouble. And not all gyms have the space for jump roping. I did it for a few months back in high school until the ceiling began to damage and my dad yelled at me.
