Good Question (At least I think so)

As some of you may or may not know, I'm on house arrest. I am required to take a breathalizer test at least twice a day. Is the small amount of alcohol in the gear going to show up in the breath test?

I really don't see how it could effect it.

No it shouldn't. Breathalizers show up because you drink the alcohol. If your shooting it the breathalizer will not catch it.

Not to make light of this situation, especially since I asked the question to begin, what if someone was to consume some vodka rectally? Would that show? This in fact, IS a serious question.

Alcohol is not digested upon absorption, nor chemically changed in the bloodstream. As the blood goes through the lungs, some of the alcohol moves across the membranes of the lung's air sacs (alveoli) into the air, because alcohol will evaporate from a solution -- that is, it is volatile. The concentration of the alcohol in the alveolar air is related to the concentration of the alcohol in the blood. As the alcohol in the alveolar air is exhaled, it can be detected by the breath alcohol testing device. Instead of having to draw a driver's blood to test his alcohol level, an officer can test the driver's breath on the spot and instantly know if there is a reason to arrest the driver.

Because the alcohol concentration in the breath is related to that in the blood, you can figure the BAC by measuring alcohol on the breath. The ratio of breath alcohol to blood alcohol is 2,100:1. AAAGGGGG this is getting too technical for me. And why would anyone want an alcohol anal injection? Gays don't get bigger by taking rectal protein injections, so how could you get drunk?

I would imagine, with all the blood vessels (making an assumption here) in the rectum, that you would absorb enough alchohol to fail a breathalyzer. If your purpose in this is to get drunk, it won't matter if you bypass your mouth, the breathalyzer should still give a positive.

I'm not that hard-up for a drink. I just heard one time that some guy soaked a tampon in vodka and got wasted but the cops could not smell the alcohol on him and let him go. I don't entirely believe this story though.

But yes, in my honest opinion, if you WERE to consume anything rectally it would go through your body and give an inhanced affect.

I doubt that the BA in gear would cause any raise in alcohol levels in the blood.

I do wonder however if Breath tests check for booze or just any type of alcohol.

The vodka and tampon thing is just sick, but yes it would raise your BAC.

The reason I asked is because I just got done injecting some prop and the phone rang.
(For those who don't know about the house arrest, they call you and have you take your own breathalizer test and show them the results in the camera that's set up in your house. And they do watch you take the test so you can't have someone else do it)
I got ready for the test and I thought to myself, "oh shit, I hope I don't come up positive!!!"

Then I came up negative. BUT, since I injected only minutes earlier, I though maybe it didn't go through me just yet.

I just thought I would consult some of you fellas before they send me back to the booty-house.
