2 things--after 2 yrs of curling with ez bar i tried the straight--got a great pump --really felt good--one thing ,what is the best way to put your thumbs(around the bar,or not gripping it so there straight out?)
and the other thing--I need to ajust the weight-to reduce it-I find that i,m pushing to hard to much weight and only getting 6 reps, and the workouts are getting to much for me--i think that the heavy weight is too trying on my nervous system-I need to get 8 to 10 reps--- and then later go back to insane weight--so for now I need some affirmation that i,m not wimping out.

yea,i tried that felt really weird--so i stopped--i,ll try again--i was getting 8 -9 reps at 100lbs on the ez bar--with the straight bar i was only getting a good 8 to 10 at 70 lbs

if 6 is putting too much strain on your CNS, maybe bump all the way up to 12 reps. It's good to change things up every so often, anyway. I know my joints thanked me during my competition prep as I bumped up to 12, then 15, then at the end, 20 reps, even while taking winstrol. Now I'm back around 6 reps (or 1, or 10, lol, depending on the exercise), and my joints still seem pretty happy.

yea ,for the last yr I,ve had the mentallity of always putting up more weight--and I,ve gotten stuck at that--I gotta changed things up
