really the only big question i have is i just got ahold of a bottle of deca 300 i guess it's 10mL b/c it's not the vials. anyway what i'm really trying to do is lose weight but keep my muscle mass and if at all possible gain it. i have vacation coming the end of oct. and was hoping i could be alot leaner by then. as of right now i'm on the atkins diet and have lost about 12 lbs. in a week and a half. i have good size when it comes to upper body it's just the spare tire that kills me. i'm 22 yrs. old 5'8 220lbs. and like i said i have good size just no cut. anyway the question's i had were is deca the way to go??? for my 1st ever cycle and trying to lose weight will it work?? where i live it's hard to get gear b/c they have been cracking down. in the last year 3 ppl. have been busted w/ it or i would have got other gear that i know would have helped. also if it is a good cycle to try what should i do as far as the cycle. like how many cc's and how many days a week. someone told me start w/ 1 cc's and work up but like i said...i've never done this b4 so i'm kinda lost. any help will be greatly appreciated. thank you!!

First off welcome to MC. I would not to a deca only cycle. It will shut you down hard. Also for loosing weight I would stick to the atkins and 5-6 days of cardio ew. I would just hold the deca until you can get some test to run with it. It won't help you reach the goal of loosing weight my friend, I'm sorry. You could try to find some Xenadrine or hydroxycut to go along with what you are doing.

Welcome, I do not think that you will get the results that you wish with Deac only. A form of test should be the base of all cycles. Deca also makes you hold water, bad for "cutting" and alone can cause dreaded "deca dick." Which pretty much takes away all of your sex drive. Test will combat that. Have you considered an ECA (ephedrine, caffine, asprin) to lose weight or something like clenbuterol?

Welcome to the board joeymac!

Sorry, but the deca isn't going to help you in your fat loss quest. You need to do somemore research on AS before using. I'll leave it like that.

As far as your vacation at the end of Oct. You should be able to shed some of your fat by then but if you have the classic spare tire just remember- it didn't grow overniight and it won't disappear overnight now. Do your best and stick with what you got till vacation, go on vacation and then come back with the attiude to loose the rest.

When you get sometime, start another thread and post your diet, progress and ask if someone can look it over for you. A straight Adkins diet isn't bad but it's not the best trick in the bag. I'd stick with it until vacation arrives because it sounds like you are having success with it and when it comes to cutting- sticking to it is the most important thing!

Good Luck- LA

thank you very much for the welcome!!

as for my diet like i said i'm on the atkins diet so mostly grilled chicken and about 20 carbs a day. as for my workout schedule i go to the gym mon-fri. usually i'll do chest mon., legs tues., bi's and back wed., tri's and shoulder's thurs. then either friday or sat. which ever day i go i'll do one exercise for each muscle to mix it up.

That's great bro, but to shed fat you need some cardio, is this in there somewhere?

Bro the very best fat burning routine out there in my opinion is the body for life. Go get the book and read it. The cardio routine is awesome. I lost 19 lbs in two months.. Almost all fat. Diet is important too. What most people don't realize is that you need carbs to have energy and process food efficiently. Carbs are essential. It is the kind of carb that makes the big difference. Stick to complex carbs(bread, pasta, potato etc). I have worked in a gym for years now and I see what works and what does not. Go get the body for life book...read.. and do what it says. I promise you will have dramatic results!

thank you for all the advise. i'll hold onto the deca until i can get something else. like i said i'm happy w/ my size so i don't really wanna take it w/ anything for bulking. so what do you recommend for a cutting cycle. again it's hard to get gear around here so try not to tell me anything to extravagant. thank you!! and for now i'll just stick to the atkins diet and cardio (which i hate, but unfortunately works).

i do at least 15-25 min. of walking/running (more like jogging) a day. i think that's what helped w/ the atkins diet so i'll just keep it up.

i guess i was just lookin for a quick fix for vaca. but i can see that's probably not the best way. and i will check out that book body for life. i heard it does work and it doens't kill you. (i'm italian and this no pasta no pizza is killing me).lol once again i thank everyone for helping me. also i'm always up for ideas or help so feel free to let me know. i'm hear to learn and i'm definately willing to learn. i read reports but i'd rather hear it from ppl. that have actually lived it then what some study on rats says.

also.....if i do get something else ie. winny or clenbuterol. how do i go about taking the deca. what i've seen on the internet is vials but this is a bottle so how many cc's how many days and for how long??

Going to disagree with you on your points.

1st- BFL is great for a beginner but is far from the best fat burning routine out there. But this is a minor issue and I don't want to Bill Phillips coming on here to debate me on this!

2nd- the complex carbs you mentioned all will spike with heck out of your insulin. Complex or not, they are all starches. Starch spikes insulin. The complex nature of those carbs keep insulin high for a good length of time. It's impossible to use stored fat while insulin is high. Stick to veggies for complex carbs.

welcome bro......there are no quick fixes, and you should most definitely stick around and pay attention to our member's advice around AAS usage
