Getting rid of this extra layer of fat???

Guys i want to be rolling into Atlantic City full steam ahead looking good representing MC.com
Unless you guys want a fat slob representing the web site, give me some tips on getting leaner while not going to zero carbs because i will have no energy and then maybe get KO'D :)
Some do's and don'ts? Sample diets?
I am like 6'0 and about 220

How many meals a day are you eating, and what does your current diet look like?
 
Here is a HUGE problem...my mom suprised me yesterday and made me a HUGE tin foil of her Lasagna. It's out of this world. I don't know what to do?????? I want to devour it right now! lol

My current diet, i pretty much eat every 2-3 hours protein based meals. I try to eat lower carbs than usual but i do throw in some complex after workouts. I drink a gallon of water a day too, usually drink 1-2 meal replacement or protein shakes and takes the vitamins, minerals, etc.
 
man its just getting all the junk out of the diet. Theres some good guys on this board they should be albe to help
 
a good, simple way would be to add (or replace some carbs with) some fiber!
 
I"m going to make my weight class of 215 no problem. My metabolism is so fast i could eat all day and not gain a pound.
I usually float like 5 lbs every night.
 
Diet and cardio are the keys....a 60-20-20 split is good pro-carb-fat....cardio first thing in am on empty stomach is the best for loosing wt.

what about the recent study that said you should take some whey protein b4 you do cardio. wondering if anyone has tryed that.
 
I always base my workouts when my stomach is almost empty so basically 2 hrs after I eat so I wont be trying that one....sorry guys!
 
I just did cardio on an empty stomach this morning. Does that mean i can eat a huge plate of lasagna now? ;) j/k
