Two promising UAE youth walked away with top honours in the Third Fujairah International Classic Body Building Championship which concluded at the Al Diar Siji Hotel here last week.

The UAE's Mahmoud Ali Murad walked away as the proud champion in the 80kgs category, while Eisa Ibrahim took the above 80kgs honours.

As many as 40 body builders from the UAE, Kuwait, Syria, Palestine, Oman, India, Iran and South Africa took part in this championship. Former World Body Building Champion Mustafa Hasanain, gave a special performance.

Ali Murad was dominating in the 80kgs category, while Nasser Al Meskari of Oman came in second, and Saif Asadranco, from South Africa was placed third.

India's Shashi Shangran was ranked fourth while the UAE's Jamal Mustafa, came in fifth. Eisa Ibrahim was too good in the over 80kgs category. After some anxious moments with Humaid Ahmed Al Tayer, Eisa was declared winner, while Al Tayer came in second.

Iranian Mohammed Ridha was third, while UAE's Mohammed Ali was fourth and Billal Tello of Syria, fifth.

The championship was held under the patronage of Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Department of Industry and Economy, was organised to select the UAE squad for the Arab Body Building Championship to be held in Morocco next month.
