Light brown swirl inside Fina Vial ????

I noticed a Light brown swirl inside one of my Fina Vials.
It has been sitting in a cool dry place for 3-4 weeks before it showed up.
It is Home brew per instructions on MC w/coffee filters and no heat.
What is it ?
Should I draw it out or leave it in ( if it isn't harmful ) ?

Any help would be appreciated.

draw it out refilter into a sterile vial and bake at 250 deg for 45 min. It's an impurity of some sort.

Winny
No, it wasn't there before I let it sit for a while. And I looked at it a few times, Labeled it a couple of weeks ago. Went to move it and saw the swirl inside it yesterday.
There is not very much of it. I looked in the other 2 bottles and you have to look hard but you can see a slight amount.
I shook it up on the first one and it disipated but I am concerned about it.

Are you talkin about using a coffee filter again or a Whatman filter?
The last time we made it we used a whatman which worked fine but the new instructions said that the coffee filter lets more Fina get thru.

The fina is commpletely solvent at this point if you followed the instructions carefully with the right amount of "magic solution" or BA and BB, whichever you used. I would run it through a Whatman filter then heat it just to be safe. There should be no residue in your gear. Why risk hurting your animal?

Like BDH said, whatman. So you skipped the whatman and just used a coffee filter?

I skipped the whatman in the begining. We used it to inject into the sterile vial only. No heat tho.... I'm lookin at it and thinking if I do run it thru the whatman again, its so fine it might not get it out. It made it thru the last time?

What if I let it settle then carefully draw the swirl out and discard the stuff ( its cheap enough ),run the rest thru a filter I guess...Then let it sit and see if it remains OK. If it does then I can heat it.
WADAYATHANK???????

I wont need it till next cycle and I'm just ending this one. My Bro started his from this batch 100mg/ed 4 wks ago and so far no problems.

What the heck...I'll just do ALL of the above and be done with it.
The"magic solution" was the correct amount.

Thanks for all the input Folks.

i have had this slight brown swirl at least 3 to 4 times and always just ignorned it--i do not know why it is--I do know it never hurt me

I had it as well. I made a 6g kit and let it sit till I was ready to use it, and mine had the light brown setiment. what you have to remember is that we are making this by hand with no lab equipment, so we are not going to be able to filter every little thing out. all it is , is what was left over from the pill form thats all. most ppl get most all of it but some times a little slips through. it is really no big deal but you can still refilter and bake.

best of luck !

brutus if you haven't already filtered it remember to heat it up first it will flow through the whatman easier. I've also had the little brown swirl before and didn't worry probally just binders they never hurt my cow in pill form. It's been filtered and baked should be ok.

Well its nice to hear that I'm not the only one that has had this and to know first hand how you delt with it.

My Bro that did it with me is well into his cycle and geting Big with no side effects. When I called him he said he is fine and he wouldn't worry about it either cuz its whats left over from the pill. He saw it on one of the batches he made B4.

This was a no heat process that Harvey has on the board. However he does have a Bake process in it if you really want to. I will do that first.

I used the heat process and it showed up on both of mine. No worries my ginny cow didn't get anything from it!
