Checking blood pressure

How do those of you that monitor your blood pressure do it. Do you use one of those digital Blood Pressure cuffs that you can buy at drugstores ?
If so are there any of them that you'd suggest buying.

One more question...those blood pressure machines that are in a lot of drug stores say that they are for people with average sized arms 9"-13". Say my arms are around 17"...would that machine give me a high or low measurement ?

I use the wrist one... it fluctuates a bit but I take the average of 3 readings.. the arm cuff is more accurate I have been told by a nurse but it is to small for my arm :) and they do sell a bigger cuff but you had to order it

I just used the one up at the food store,it has weight scale on it also i weighted my self before doing BP said i weighted 175 i almost put my fist thur it off by 40lbs then did BP systolic 147
diastolic 102 pulse 96.

It will give you an abnormally high reading.

And Max-HC, if you want to live to see your grandkids, you better get your BP under control. High BP will destroy your kidneys, eyes, and heart.
