Be honest, when you bulk how clean do you eat...

me and a friend were going over some foods and shakes calorie and protein, carb wise. It take a hell of alot of food to clean bulk. A hell of alot. HOw bad do you eat when you bulk ?
 
I eat just about everything. It's very hard to get 5000-6000 calories with just clean diet. I went up from 204-255lb in 3 months and right now I'm cutting and down to 215lb.
 
Everything in site-Within reason. I will eat a triple cheesburger but I will not eat a whole cheescake. Gotta draw the line...
 
I'm sure I put on some fat but I also put on some muscle. People told me my arms, back and chests were bigger. I just don't eat like a whole cake or shake but like a Happy meal or steak wih baked potato. Within reason like Green was saying.
 
whatever I can I've given up on eating clean when bulking, so next time I bulk my only 2 concerns will be calories and protein.

i got you , but would yousay you put on twice the fat than you did muscle ? 40 pounds ??????
 
My last bulking cycle I ate everything in site...good amount of protein was my concern. I gained about 30lbs with maybe 95% being lbm.

I used test prop and tren. Damn, I love that combo. eat like shit, and gain mostly muscle. I looked bigger everywhere. I should post my b4 and after pics for that cycle.
 
I eat pretty clean, but if I am low on cals I will boost them with some bad shit. I have went from 197 to 210 in a lil over a week.
 
My current(just concluded cycle) I put on a total of 21 lbs 199-220 Started at 8.1% bf ended up at 9.8% so I put on 14lbs muscle 6 lbs of fat
 
First- excellant question Pudge!

I try to eat clean most of the time, but there are times you need to boost the calories. For example, you hit McD's. Order dbl-cheesburgers (like 3) but skip the fries. This also hits into McD's profit margin so that also makes me feel good.
 
I only count protien grams when bulking every thing else is fair game. I'd like to be able to say I eat clean but I don't. I eat like a pig and yes I put on some fat. I haven't seen my abs for quite a while now but I have some killer love handles.
 
I agree with Balboner, in that for my next bulker, my only concerns will be if I am getting enough calories and enough protein. In all honesty, I can't see how anyone can eat clean when bulking. And with regards to eating heavy carbs late at night, to hell with it! I usually get home from lifting at 10 p.m. during the week so a big, calorie-rich, carb-rich meal is certainly on the menu. All is damned when bulking.
 
screw trying to eat clean on a bulker everything and anything not nailed to the table is going down I will hit mac for a burger or 4 but not eat the fries and no soda either but every thing else is fair game as long as I hit my protein mark I am happy

not very clean at all....i eat just about everything and anything, just to insure i am getting the calories, and most importantly protien i need.

i add a little fat with each bulking cycle, but for me, its always been easier to to loose weight than it is to gain it.

That is just great resisting there lol eat teh damn cheesecake...the way I bulk and I suggest this highly to many...get you clean carbs and protein in and then eat w/e you want!For exampl 2 chicken breast 3/4c. oatmeal and some pb and then eat the damn pizza or cheesecake!
 
I'm going on a bulker soon. I'll do my best to eat clean, but I'm sure that I'll stray a little. I've built myself up to 8 tablespoons of Olive oil per day as LA has suggested. That's a damn easy way to get 1000 calories.

I have a very hard time not eating clean. I'm allergic to most of the good things so if I do have some. Pizza etc. I can only eat a little. I get all my protein and fat in but the carbs are what kill me. Oh yah. If you want to fuck up a good potential bulker, get a stomach virus....LOL
