I have a friend who works for a major consulting firm. Needless to say that there are a lot of people who work there. He has developed a side business. He bets people they can't loose 15 lbs in 3 months! So far he's up $100 with much more to come. One guy even refused to step on the scale- he just paid up.
He says he's going to clean up in the next few months. People don't realize that Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas and New Years are all coming up. I think the real money can be made after the New Year when people make resolutions. Sure people may loose 15 lbs but to keep it off till the start of April? I think not.
So if anyone wants to start a little side business of their own here's an idea for ya!
