info on doing a cycle for guys over 40. Is their products and stacks that work better for older guys? I want to start in Jan. so I am gathering info now to put together the cycle. I have read all the profiles, members cycle jours, threads about cycles on this board and several others. I am hoping for info from people who are over fourty and have experience with cycles. This will be my first cycle. I am 6' 270 and about 40 lbs over weight. I know about losing the weight first, I know about cardio, clen, ect. I rep.315 so Im not new at this, I have about 20 yrs in the gym. If you are 40 plus and can send some info my way I would be grateful,Thanks

Well here we go KnotHead I'm 39 if that make me qualified with some experiance with cycles. Firstthing is to get the BF% down to the 12-15%range. Ok now with that out of the way a lean mass cycle would probally be the best unfortantly this is a ed/eod inject cycle. So question is are you ready to do this? It's not as easy as it seems. Here's a basic simple mean mass cycle.

prop 75mgs ed 1-12weeks
fina 75mgs ed 4-12 weeks
EQ 400mgs/wk 1-10 weeks

thats it plain and simple. Diet is going to be the key minimal 400g's protein 3-400g's carbs 100g's fat. Don't forget the anti E's ala and post cycle recovery

If you are going to do a cycle you wll need to get slimmed down first because it would be really hard to do that on the cycles listed above. (but you know that already)
I would run either cyp or enanthate at 500 or 600mg/wkand eq at 400mg/wk. I think it puts less fat and water on than decca, so I agree with MBK and Chem on that.
While you regetting the bf down, try a course of IGF-1 It will be a big boost to dropping the bf,and as you get older, that battle becomes more difficult. One thing you should do in the meantime is have some blood woark done to establish base-line values and natural test level, and don't forget to get the PSA checked and have your prostrate checked by your doctor.

Thanks for the info, I have had the prostrate checked and she said its doing ok. The body fat is the result of injury and not being able to work out the way I have in the past for quite awhile. I am working on the BF and am making excellent progress with clen, cardio, and diet. I know alot about the food side its the AS side and my age that I am trying to understand. If the questions seem newbie well some of that is true. When I read the info on the boards I know most is based on younger guys. Thats why I asked for ideas from older gym rats. Thanks again, and if you think of anything else please post it.
