this year again for my son.
Since I had the most miserable record (1-11) in the league, anyone know where I could learn a little more about how to teach BB to a bunch of 11 year olds?
First off, I know zip about the sport, second, bear in mind that the attention span of an 11 year in a gym at night after a day in school is measured in nano seconds. Most of my coaching time was spent getting them to stop raising the backboard up and down with another kid hanging on the rim (I told them that didn't count as a dunk).
Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, let me know. As an aside, they are not allowed to play zone yet, it's man for man coverage only.
