Smalltown mail sucks! a rant

I just moved to small town hick-ville USA and they have no mail delivery service just PO box's at post office. I get a package sent and my g/f picks it up from post office it was some pins from getpinz.com and when she handed lady note to get it, and packaging was great all legal the lady shakes the box and says "I wonder whats in here" my g/f was like I don't know we get things all the time and told me I was a bit pissed but let it go.

I never would attempt to even send anything out from this place so I go to different post office to do that. Well I got a package of benzoyl peroxide and some avita topical ointment and some antibiotics from a friend for acne. I went to get box the lady had note package was open when they got it. She had put a piece of tape on it but you could see where the usps box had to have been peeled open as you could see marks where it was pulled did not open by itself.

I do have alternative pmb but this pissed me off these small town hicks have nothing better to do than guess or open packages. I can't believe it.
 
I have a pmb for aas but for antibiotics and pins I figured it would be ok.

I know she peeled the box open I can see impressions where it did not come open by itself.

I would have freaked out on her but my g/f got both packages for me and I would have not been very nice.

sometimes small towns grow small minds.

I wish people would mind there own business and not shake and open packages without suspicion. Its got to be illegal unless there is something broken.

When I go today got more antibiotics coming I am gonna pick package up myself and have a little chat or comment like "wow this package you didn't open?"
 
that would piss me off as well!!!

would like to be a fly on the wall when you get your other stuff...lol
 
my g/f is freaking out and told me to get no packages but I have got nothing really illegal some topical antibiotics and pins. Hell no am I gonna get aas here!

I want to say something but don't wanna raise suspicions, not that I ever have anything illegal..
 
That's not cool....If it's a pack from UPS they can open the pack. If the people at the post office are nosey and have cause UPS can open it for them. I would stay away from there.
 
That is not cool at all. I would def say something to this "package handler." Your intimidating looking right? LOL

Seriously though, say something and be sure to receive a few "test packages" to make sure she learned her lesson. Then it should be safe to receive business as usual.
 
I may set her up with postal inspector and have a package delivered. It is a federal offense if I am correct?

I never go into post offices with tee-shirt always wear baggie clothing as I always think packs and big dudes= Red Flags.
 
You're right about the red flag, though we may be a bit paranoid. LOL

It is a federal offense if I'm not mistaken. I say go for it, or threaten it at least.
 
If it's US mail they can't tamper with it but if it's through a private handler like UPS or FedEx the company that is delivering the package can open it if they believe it is hazardous or illegal.
 
i still think anyone using USPS is a fool.....why put the products in the hands of the government?? atleast witha private company like UPS and FedEx they are in it for the money and pretty much could care less what the product is as long as it is not hazardous materials. just make sure things are in hazardous bags and such so if there is a leak it will be contained.

private companies are there for the almighty dollar....nothing else. as long as you pay the shipping they could care less. trust me, i know and have seen it happen.
 
yeah under the guidlines they have to tell you if its opened and inspected, what you do is claim that there was something missing like cash in a greeting card. talk to a supervisor and let them know it was opened, and if a questio is asked your female friend is diabetic and gets her meds that way along with her needles.
It only takes one complaint to get your stuff no questions asked.
send a test package to yourself with stuff in it like what you mentioned and send a note that says now I have your fingerprints on top. they will tell you or just not open anymore.

with all the added security they may have some legal rights to open and inspoect but must have a reasonable suspicion of its contents.
 
I got some Dog shit laying around here if you need some. Hell I will even mail it too you- With some shot glasses to clink around.

fuck that bitch, it's illegal. get proof and get her fired. i sure as hell would. fuck people like that. i hate nosy people. HATE THEM
