i was wondering how much periactin you would need to take before bed to get the sleepiness effect. i want to take it before bed so i dont get tired during the day !

is 2 tabs enough 1 hr before bed or should i take three

Periactin is an antihistamine. Rather than using a product designed for something else entirely, and hoping for its side-effect, how about using a product designed for what it is you want to do.

true but i have to say my asshole dr has prescribed me sleeping pills that were for one thing specific and the side effects were drowsiness, i thought that was bizaar myself, but thats just how they do it, i cant think of the name of the sleepin pills she gave me but they were for bed wetters, lol, needless to say i didnt take them when i read up on them

Tylenol PM and othe products OTC use an antihistamine for the sleep inducing effect
Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)

Tylenol PM works for me when I can't sleep. I try to stay away from drugs if I don't need them....Well most of them anyways.

uhm, so back to the question .... how much do i take of periactin ? cause i also like the appetite inducing affect as well !

Periactin,
it takes a couple of weeks to get used to. The tabs come in 4mg tabs and I usually took 3-6 before bed depending on my goals.

It's something that you have to build up to so I might even start at half a tab per day for the first 3-4 days. Then build up to 1 tab and again up from there. Most people become very lethargic while using it but I didn't have that problem. The biggest problem was waking up in the middle of the night with hunger pains and looking for something to eat and then going back to bed. I used it as an appetite stimulant, not as a "smart drug"

the smart drug you are confusing this with is Piracetam I believe
