Igf for the youngens

Hello, I am brand new to this board.. I post and read on a few other boards as well.. Steriodology and ironmagazine.. under different names however.

Anyways, to the question..

I have become very curious about igf LR3.

I have read a few articles that I searched for in the forums.. and it sounds like a god damn miracle drug. It seems to have few negative side effects especially when used in moderate doses.

However, I have not seen anything regarding use in young people. I.E. people under 18.. I know with steroids it should be strongly discouraged that a person under 18 use roids... but is it any different for IGF?

Yes, I am under 18.. I am 17 exactly.. I am excited by IGF.. but if its a no no at my age I'm even going to touch it..

@ 17 you need to eat eat eat

this should be your schedule starting in the a.m.:

eat high protein breakfast with good carbs (some simpe)

go to school ( take some protein bars with you for extra meals)

train as in weight training ( protein shake immediately after)

dinner

shake

sleep

Make sure you hang around here and study, by the time you're ready you'll know everything you need to know

I mean I know one of the big reasons with steroids is because it could cause growth plates to close early.
 
Well, there's two reasons why you should not.

1. Most likely you are still growing and because IGF1 is such a new drug there is no telling what it will do to a body that is still in its growth phase. To my knowledge there has not been any studies on adolesents (sp) to show that it's safe or harmful. It might cause permenant irrepairable damage for someone that's still growing...

2. You must be at least 18 to purchase it. lol.
 
yeh man, i strongly recommend not supplimenting this product yet at yoru age. Your not even done getting your natruall igf-1 secretion production ballance that is determened for the rest of your life after puberty. Every year this has been shown to decline after your fully mature, your natrual circulation of igf-1 so, its great for seasond lifters to suppliment this, just as it is for lifters in thier prime but your igf-1 ballance hasn't even been established yet man.

A safter way to elivate you igf-1 levels, at your age is to consume lots of protein at night before you go to bed, igf-1 levels are the highest in deep rem sleep.
 
I would never recommend anything more that protien to someone your age. There is no reason to take a risk of long term heath affects at your age. You are at a point where you will make more gains naturally than any ohter time in your life. Take advatage of that. Eat clean and train.

The main reason is your at the age where growing naturally is optimal. There is no need to supplement what's happening naturally. All you need to right now and for the next 2 years is eat and train. Keep your protein high and your workouts intense and consistant, and you WILL grow.

Post your natural growth here and let us know what's going on. I assure you we like reading other people's progress. Stick with it bro, time passes by quicker than you think.

Yeah, I was just wondering if IGF was safe or not at my age.. and I didn't think it would be such a good idea.. but damn I'd love to get on it.. but I don't mind waiting too much either. I am getting good gains still..

I neeed to take some pics of meself and post them.

I'm a skinny little bastard without much meat on me.. around 140-145 lbs... around 5ft 8.5in

I have been training for around a year now.. fairly consistently.

Keep training and don't worry about what will be leagal. Steroids were legal when I started training. I didn't do my first cycle until I was 22. Steroids were scheduled the year before. It's better to wait it out and make sure you are making the right decision.
 
Sorry, should have made it more evident.. I'm not REALLY SERIOUSLY worried about obtaining IGF.. I have obtained many things over the mystical internet that I'm sure are much harder to come by than bb substances.
 
Have you seen sphinx around on any of the boards you visit? He is also around 18 and is doing research on how it effects adolesents, and bone growth. i know he frequents cuttingedgemuscle.com, but have not seen him on other boards for a while. u could pm him over there with ur questions.

I also agree with what others have said, u should wait till u learn to put on mass without aid. I was in the same boat u were. i waited till i got to 197, dieted to 183 @ 9% and then started. 2 years later im siting at 230 10%.

If you dont learn how to eat, NOTHING you take will work for you. Let us help you with your meal planning.

I wouldn't worry bout that now. If it does become an issue, by that time there will be other substances out there as good or better. New stuff is always coming round the corner.
 
At your age you can grow from just pushing large rocks. Let your natural system do its thing. You test levels are high right now so just train clean.

Ok, my diet.. hrmmm *cough*... *looks around nervously*


Umm yeah.. my diet is pretty much non-existant right now in terms of consistency and discipline...

Lets see.. I guess my first meal of the day is always the same..

I eat a scoop of whey mixed with a glass of skim milk.. along with a table spoon of flax seed oil and a multi vitamin..

Next comes lunch.. I come home for lunch and I eat pretty much whatever I see.. chicken.. steak.. soup.. pasta.. a sandwhich.. I usually take my creatine around lunch as well..

Next time my meal after school which is pretty much whatever again..

Then I have dinner which is pretty much whenever again..

Then I may eat something before I go to bed.. sometimes dinner is where it stops though...

I am starting to add in another scoop of whey sometime in the mix.. usually after dinner but before bed....

I know I know.. my diet is horrible.. but quite honestly sometimes it hard for me to watch it because my life is not exactly in a set routine. Sometimes I don't go home after school for various reasons.. etc etc etc...


But I would appreciate any advise.. as for a long time I have been guilty about my horrific diet.. please help me! haha

Ill be honest with u. Thats no damn excuse!! there are plenty of guys, myself included, that are full time students with full jobs, working 5-6 days a week and still MAKE time to have their meals prepared. I have 2 days a week when i cook and prepare all my food for the next 3 or 4 days. i cook chicken in bulk and put it in tupperware or big plastic bags in the fridge. I fix the shakes i need for the day while i eat breakfast, then store it all in big cooler that take with me. when its time to eat the food is there.

is it hard, hell yea. is it a pain in the ass, hell yea. but if you dont make that commitment you wont eat like u know u should.

At 145lbs you should be eating about 2900 cals a day. u should be able to do that in 6 meals every 3 hrs no problem. If u make 3 solid meals and 3 shakes u can do it pretty conviently. Each meal should be about 450-500 cals.

here is an easy to prepare meal plan, it gets monomtonus, but it gets the job done.

1) 40g whey protein---200-250 cals
1 cup uncooked oatmeal blended in---300 cals

2) 1 and 1/2 chicken breasts (aprox 7 oz.)---315 cals
1 serv lipton instant rice--230 cals or 2-3 serv instant mashed taters-- 200-300 cals

3) same as 2

4) pre-work out, 1/2 sevre nLarge by prolab---300 cals
1 20g serve whey protein----100-120

5) post-workout, same shake as 4


6) same as 2 and 3.
or have half a tortinos pizza with chicken--320 cals

that totals out to 3080 cals on the high end, comes out to about a 40/40/20 ratio which is prob. ideal for you. easy to fix and palatable. gotta love the fact that u get pizza every night!
 
man just eat everything and nething u can get ur hands on and dont worrie about getting fat just eat eat untill ur gonna explode force as much food down as offten as possible and work out hard and ull get big just EAT alot of ppl worrie about gettin fat dont just eat throw in like 3 pb&j's a day thats like a extra 750 calories give or take a few have a glass of milk with each of those and bam u got ur self some weight gainer
