It looks brown since there is no light going through it. It is golden color. I will take a pic in the morning that has more light.

Must have used a lot of heat caused oxidation and made dark no-biggie.
I made this batch at 150mg per cc.

I did use a lot of heat. I was kind of unsure about temp and time.

as long as it stays below 400 degrees, you will be fine bro. Mine is dark too but clear of anything in it. But works great bro!
