Competition Dilemma

I had planned to compete in the NPC Ironman Classic and the Bev Francis Atlantic States this June. I've just been informed by one of the Promoters that the two shows are scheduled on the same day.

I think I'd do a lot better at the Ironman Classic and it's in KidRoks backyard.

The Atlantic States is a prestigious show and it would be great to be a part of it.

I've never done an NPC show before and think I'd be better off starting with the Ironman Classic.

Or should I just go for it:confused:

Well, I can't comment without being biased but I'd like nothing more than to have an MC bro follow in my footsteps and be the next overall winner of that show! :)

Thanks, but I'd be happy to make the top 3 in my class (Middleweight).

Bro, Its a matter of what YOU want.
If your planning on competeing for awhile and really trying to go as far as you can, It helps having been seen by the judges as much as possible. And then everytime they do see you on stage, you improve. This is what catches the judges eye. You want them to look at you. If they recognize you and say wow he looks a lot better than last show, your bound to be judged better by them. This is part of the politics of BBing. Fairly assess yourself and decide where youd do your best. then start at the level you decide. walking before you run sometimes is the best way. BUT!! if your ready, your ready! sorry if this confused you any!

Thanks Bro. It's great advice.
Sometimes it's better to hear it from someone else.

I've been competing since 1999, but not at the NPC level.

I plan to be in this game a long time and will walk before I run.
