I'm 1 week on my new workout and I love it. I put together a "modified DoggCrapp" routine using a 3 way bodypart split over 4 days. Cut back my normal 9-12sets per bodypart to 4-6 sets. Gets me out of the gym quicker(at least until I start cardio too next week). I just find it hard to believe I can still be sore with less than 1/2 the number of my usual sets!

RB, actually everything gets hit twice over 9 days, and no I have not started the stretching yet, not sure how I will modify that part of it.
Tugs, no, I use to hit everything once a week and totally annilhate it, now the volume is way down so recovery should be better. The way I see it, I am now stimulating the muscle more frequently as opposed to destroying it less frequent.

Hey bro, I am currently training with DC, and it's incredible. I have made so much progress over the last 7 weeks it's sick, but I think the most important part of everything DC advocates is his eating, follow that and your golden, and remember DC is not just a routine, you ahve to do everything together, Diet, Training and Stretching to make it work. But put it all together, and you'll see amazing results. Goodluck bro.
 
For me personally, the one on one help you get from him is indispensible. I tried it on my own, but then went and worked with him, and he really fine tuned everything and walked me through everything and divulged alot of secrets and little tips that he didn't on the boards. It was the best money I've spent since I started bodybuilding IMO.
 
kidrok , i asked u how often the whole body gets worked becos u dont the total " work done " by the muscle in a week to be lower than before after the modification do u ? cos there need to be progressive overload ...
either way , i think the streching helps in a major way when u have a pump .
 
The stretching helps so much with recovery it's amazing, but without the stretching and eating, I think it would be hard for the body to recover properly, I can't emphasize enough how important it is for all components to be used together to get great results. I can tell you this, I just weighed in after 5 weeks of working with DC personally, and went from 187 to 219, I couldn't beleive it myself when I stepped on the scale, I AM SO EXCITED, let me know if you need any help with anything bro.

Ok, I'll start the stretching this week (I HATE STREtCHING!) lol
Yes, total number of sets of a week per muscle group is slightly lower than before, however I believe this allows me to truly increase intensity. It seems that no matter how hard you push when doing 3 working sets or more per exercise it's like sub-conciously you are holding back some. I see a definite difference now with only 2 work sets as far as my intensity levels.

yes , its amazing and a very nice feeling when all lifts suddenly go up as u cut back on the volume :D , we all like a false sense of ego dont we :) ?
and the streching bro , i tell u , i sometimes feel it takes out the need for site injecting ? just a crazy theory i have , the extreme streching under the pump , its increasing site specific igf-1 levels to more than normal , also streching the muscle fascia when u have a pump , i think this would accomplish a lot , ofcourse the androgen binding isnt there :) , but what do u think of the localised igf-1 increase from this ? worth it i feel man .

I don't really know the logistics of increased local IGF-1 from stretching but do agree that if this is an added benefit it will be a welcome benefit!

Kidrock, will you post your workout? I mean what bodyparts on what days, not specific exercises.

wk out 1:
Chest, Tri, Bi, abs

wk out 2:
Hams, Quads, Calves

wk out 3:
Back, Traps, Shoulders
 
A different split than DC suggests. The reason is bec he wants to train each bp as many times per year as possible and make continual progress over the year.

Kidrok you must be training 3 days on and one off or something like that?
 
Jonny, I customized it to fit my schedule and needs. Training Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri with a 3-way body split.

RB, started the stretching.....holy sh!t! I did back today and then simply hung from a chin bar with a wide grip and straps going for that 3 minutes he suggests......no weight either, barely got a minute and the pain in my lats was excruciating!

1 minute? Hell I can barely get 20 seconds, remember to flare your lats out and let them get the pull.
