Pretty Significant Difference. I don't even want to see what it looks like when I am bulking and eating red meat.

Remember People this is not a game. You need to get your own blood tests. Know what is going on in your body. I would love some feed back. Anybody else have any #'s.

Here is something interesting.....Alot of the med research I do indicates MD's are relying on cholesterol readings less and less. According to Dr. William Campbell Douglass MD, Editor in Chief of Real Health, and the National Health Federation's Doctor of the Year 1985 , people with cholesterol under 200 have more heart attacks than ones above 200.
Dr Robert Rowen MD, Editor in chief of "Second Opinion" says the same thing. He reported over a year ago that his own mother had cholesterol over 700-for nearly 10 years-and that all testing reveals she is heathy with no cardio problems.
Our livers manufacture cholesterol, and it is vital to immune function. And anti-cholesterol drugs are a huge failure in most cases-the liver will just increase production of cholesterol.
Low cholesterol will actually weaken blood vessels, particularly in the brain, causing a massive stroke when they burst.

The British Medical Journal announced "cholesterol screening is not worthwhile"

The real fear for cardio problems is homocystiene levels. HomoC is in fried foods mostly and processed foods. HomoC corrodes the blood vessels, causing "pits". Then cholesterol grab s onto these pits.

Also there is speculation that artery blockage is caused by an organism(probably viral) that attempts to destroy vessel tissue-the body then increases production of cholesterol to smooth over this damage, ultimately causing blockage.

Forgot to post this-homocystiene levels are controled by vitamins b6 and b12-and red meat is loaded with these vitamins.
There are many medical myths that are just untrue-one of which is eggs and red meat cause CV problems. This has never been proven. Just hearsay. In the eighties and nineties when high carb and high fiber were "IN" and eggs and red meat were "out" heart disease was still the number 1 killer.
You have to remember that in many cases these myths are put forward by people with a vested interest in the results. One prominent Dr has ben promoting a high carb and fiber diet for years-says red meat will kill you, blah, blah, blah. Same Dr. is on Quaker Oats payroll.....so what do you think he will say?

Hey randy,
I pulled that info from Dr. Douglass' nesletter. I am not sure which issue that info was in but I can referrence it when I get back home. I am supposed to be leaving the country in a few hours-hope the snow storm in Raleigh hasn't screwed my plans. While I am away I will try to access an internet cafe and see if I can run down that info for you.
