breakfast routine.....

Bently

Now that I'm in pre-contest phase I can't get a way with just a shake for breakfast. Have to get up about 1/2 hr earlier. I pour my coffee, cook my eggs, then my oatmeal, eat them and wash it down with a small protein shake. Then take all my vitamins which makes me gag some mornings: multi-vitamin/mineral, E,C, B-complex, digestive enzymes, acidphillus, Silymarin, and some days a couple glucosomines (which are freakin horse pill size).
Next week I have to start earlier cause I need to start my morning cardio which gets inserted right after pouring my coffee. Then shower and get to work. Hell no wonder I'm so damn tired!

It takes me 2 hours every morning with my routine and I'm not even doing cardio. I do live 5 mins from work though, thank god. I usually take a long shower, shave, gel the coiffe, then down to the kitchen where it takes me a good 20-25 minutes to cook breakfast. Egg whites, oatmeal, toast, turkey bacon and a protein shake... plus I prepare the mid morning meal for work and eat. I then spend the next 1/2 hour "lightening the load" before I actually get dressed and roll out. :D

Hang in there, man. Its all worth it when you're a walking freak of nature.

Consider making a larger batch of food on the weekend, putting in in the fridge and then eating what you need (warmed up in the micro) each day.

Pump, I am on your routine starting tomorrow. Can I eat the Apples and Cinnamon oatmeal?

Toast is it strictly wheat?

Butter?
Jelly?

your bread should be 100% whole wheat
i believe you're suppose to avoid enriched flour

actually you should avoid wheat products if possible as wheat can raise estrogen levels. Go with Oat or multi-grain.

kid rock --that is great dedication--you must be in great shape--any pics?

-Look for the musclechemistry mod post his pic is there.

I will just try to cut out the breads completely.

Hey pump, I made my turkey bacon in the microwave in a bowl of water. How long does it take you in a pan. Just curious. Thanks
