Thanks, DG. That means a lot. With so many really HUGE guys out there, its not tough to stay humble. There's always somebody bigger, leaner, etc. I'm just happy I can still train hard and have the opportunity to do this. (I work with people all the time who have medical problems which limit what they can do.)

The vein thing is pretty cool, though - one of my favorite aspects of getting ready for shows. I think I know how it feels to be a woman with guys always staring at her breasts. Kinda funny to watch people's eyes when you're wearing shorts and stand up (e.g., when leaving a restaurant) and they keep on looking down at the veins snaking all around your legs... LOL.

Anybody remember Jim Quinn. Now THOSE were some friggin' veins!!!

Another kinda cool thing. Some of the superficial veins are in the dermis and some are anchored to the outer fascia of the muscle. If you're really lean and veiny, you can slide the skin over the muscle and the veins in the skin will move, but the ones snaking along the muscle fascia won't. Its a really weird effect.
