Hey wanted to introduce myself before I started being the typical nubian pain in the arse.

First let me say I've been monitoring this site for a few months now and am impressed, nay amazed, at the level of knowledge here and the willingness to share that knowledge. Feel like I've gotten to know a number of you (and your sense of humor) just by reading your posts.

Ok, a bit about me...
Been training on and off my whole life but only got serious a couple years ago when I realized how much I'd let myself go over the last few years, I had reached a point that I reflect back on as my "skinny fat" phase. Since then, I've busted my butt to get to where I am now and have vowed to never get that outta shape again, I lost the fat and have put on a little over 20 pounds of muscle (not looking for a pat on the back) but am struggling to continue the weight gain.

I ran my first uneducated cycle about eight months ago consisting of nothing more than Sustanon 250 once a week for 10 wks. I was seriously uneducated at that time and hence didn't get the results I wanted, not to say I didn't get results, just not what I wanted... I wanted size, I got hardness. Not only have I since learned better (umm, much better) options for size but I also learned how poor my diet was at the time... thanks.

Anyway, I am out due to injury right now (hernia) and am stuck at home... thought this was a good time to introduce myself and try to take full advantage of the knowledge on this board. I am planning my next cycle when I get back but will not go in uneducated again.

Ok, that's my intro.. albeit a little wordy, don't worry I won't rattle on like that in future post.

I'll start new posts to ask my nubian questions....
 
Welcome Dim! and don't worry bout rattling on, Crankin does that all day long, we just learned to tune him out! ;)

welcome dim, how much longer until you can get back in the gym?? i remember my hernia operation in the 9th grade. i was laid up for one week, then another 2 weeks before i could stand up all the way without pain.

Have you ever met a Nubian? How do you know they are all pains in the arse? And what exactly is an arse?
And what kind of questions do Nubians usually ask? Oh, I guess we'll find out.

For those that don't know,

Nubia - a desert region and ancient kingdom in the Nile valley of southern Egypt and northern Sudan.

Nubian - a native or inhabitant of Nubia. Any of the languages of Nubia.
 
lol....damn this whole time I thought that I was reading "nubain,"...come on guys I can't be alone on this one...lol

You know nubain, the pain from his hernia...damn do I feel stupid, i guess as stupid as a nubian as I have now learned.

LOL, thanks to all for the welcome....

and M. McGwire... doc initially said not to lift over 50 pounds for the first six weeks, but after a couple conversations he was saying as long as i listen to my body i could be back in the gym in two weeks, i'm seeing him tomorrow and planning on trying to get back in the gym this weekend....
 
good deal, just make sure you take the dr's advice and listen to your body.

BTW you gotta be a Steeler fan, right?!
