dr. sanjay gupta today on cnn said they now have a link after a 20 year study that testosterone prevents alzheimers.

they were talking about how prescriptions for test therapy have gone up 178% since 1998.

so they are finally figuring out what we have known all along. its goooooooood for you.

I subscribe to a number of MD's newsletters-and they have said all along testosterone is not the dangerous compound that people make it out to be. It has shown promise in prostate therapy and the longevity people hail it as the fountain of youth. Of course doing a gram a week probably has some risk, but in somewhat normal doses it probably is very beneficial-shorter recovery time, and I have read that brain function increases also.

This is a nice little article. Maybe some forward thinking is possible. Thanks for sharing this.

Maybe Gupta's data is not published.

His opinion is not universal:

Hopefully more studies can be done on test thearpy-I am kida skeptical that any serious studies will occur as testosterone itself is not patentable (of course derivatives are-i.e, deca). If it is not profitable big pharma probably is not interested..but who knows, maybe an independent guy or group can do some more research.

well feeling

all I know is that I feel so much better metally and physically when I am on elevated levels (even as low as 150 mg / week) than when I am letting my natural levels prevail. I have heard this time and time again from everyone on this board - so I dont know why it is not prescribed more than it is - it is one of those few well being things that is great. I know most would agree on this board that they feel better and most would even go so far to say that even if it shortened life lets say from average of 74 years to 70 years ( almost 10%) but their quality was to be "the on AAS" quality their whole life - they would take the option to be on.

so why is everyone still so backwards in thinking it is so evil.

go figure. I guess the same reason they think they can stop illegal drugs that are not quality of life by simplly spending money on a losing war against them - instead of taxing them getting people under medical supervision and spending all the massive amount of money on re education instead of incarceration due to addicition illness.

just imagine if they came after you for getting sick with a cold and put you in jail till it was gone. eeeekkk!!!!

Just a couple of reasons why it -being AAS-will never be legalized-at least until the public demands it.

That's too bad. $5 copay for insurance covered test would be great!

It's always good to hear studies showing positives for AAS. There are too many talking about the negatives.
