Lactose Intolerant - Need protein

There's a guy in my gym that is lactose intolerant and he asked me for some brands of protein that he could drink.

Can everyone save me some research time and give me some different brands of protein he can drink. Thanks

As someone who's lactose intolerant, I can vouch for Muscle Milk and Isopure. Schwartz Labs protein also doesn't bother me. Tell him he has to stay away from ones that use calcium caseinate in the ingredients.

Lactaide does NOT work for me, but I react rather quickly to most milk products.

Why don't you suggest he add some lactaide into his rich, hearty, frothy shakes made with skim milk?

or use lactose free milk with optimum protein it has lactase in it or use an egg protein soy milk is a good option too.

Ditto on what jipped said. Other than a whey w/o lactose, add lactase (sounds like the Optimum protein is a nice product?), or use egg, soy, vegetable, casein protein.

Tuna shakes are an option, too, of course. 8^)

bumping for Breacherup! couple ideas have been touched on in this old thread about being lactose intolerant!

Also someone here mentioned Schwartzlabs, I use to sell their proteins and all their products actually, they are a good company, or at least use to be, not sure if Jim still owns it, but he use to and it was a nice operation
