What kind of diet does everyone use for cutting??

I cycle the carbs, day 1 high (200 g), day 2 moderate (150 g), day 3 low (-100 g), then repeat. Protein stays at 350-400g, fat varies from 30-50g depending on carb level, low carbs = higher fat day.

60 % of maintenance carbs for 3 days , then 4th day , maintenance carbs + 15 % carbs . protein and fat stay the same .

I am currently keeping my carbs to 150g daily, consisting of low GI vegetables, except for 60g high GI post workout ...

i am using CKD. its working great. i just go with the flow about when to carb up. some times i carb up after 4 sometimes after 7days. i have lost about 5 pounds in 1.5 weeks.

crank - i'm about 5 weeks into a diet right now. so far i'm making sure my carbs are generally less than 200 per day. I've been tracking what I've eaten, but I haven't calculated my daily totals are. That's a project for the weekend.

Are you into a diet right now or just thinking about it?

I'm just preparing to diet in March

I'm sticking to about 10kcal/pound with as much protein as possible; tons and tons of chicken breasts! I think my carbs are less than 50g/day until the weekends when I have all-you-can eat sushi, but I think that may get cut out sooner than later; I have to confess to icecream for desert with the sushi until now, but my last icecream for a while was last Sat. night ;-).

450g pro 225g carb 65g fat (EFA)

you're a big mofo, so you require much more maintenance calories than the rest of us (or those of us around the 210-215 range anyway)

I cut my calories, add cardio to early morning and post workout, maintain protein, reduce carbs and fat, take almost all simple sugars where possible

zig zag the carbs (3 days low and one day high)
