Juice on Ketodiet.

Have any of you cycled (juiced) on CKD or Simple Ketogenic diet.
I am hypothesizing that one would gain a good amount of muslce cuz ketodiet is protien sparing.

So tell me what u guys think.
 
Well....i would say your hypothesis is correct bro. lol.

Its much easier to just do a regular bulk diet then cut later. You'll be able to put on more muscle mass. Its a tall order to cut BF and gain muscle at the same time. Difficulties that usually end up in disappointment.

I think that's a major problem for a lot of guys starting out. They want to be lean and get huge at the same time, but for most it doesn't work out that way. lol. Bulk first - cut later. JMO.
 
I think it is totally possible to stay "relatively" the same bf% when bulking. Everyone says to eat anything and everything, but if you were to keep it fairly clean and not cut out cardio; it is definitely doable.

I would bulk with carbs in the system. The muscle cells need the fuel, the carbs are anabolic (insulin) and provide the kcal needed for anabolism. There are guys who I know (via the net) who have been able to stay lean and bulk with a CKD (modified to have frequent carb-ups) but these are few and far between.

Another option might be to carb-cycle, rather than attempt to get into a ketotic state. The concept that ketosis per se is a magical metabolic state that spares protein is not well supported at all. REgardless, when gaining you're not trying to spare it, you're trying to gain it.

Anybody else got any suggestions?

i think that i will cut up first then bulk with carbs. i am actually quite fat rite now, so i definitly need to go down to 10-12% then bulk with a clean diet and a sexy little cycle.
