Try this:

Instead of doing your normal workout for a given muscle / muscle group, try this.

This is most easily done on a machine and should be done where you have a spotter, some safety bars, or an safe way to drop the weight if necessary

Pick one exercise.

-Find a weight you can do a 6-8 rep max set with (you can only do 6-8 reps with it).

-Do a set of 3 reps.
-Rest 30 sec
-Do 3 reps
-REst 30 sec.

Continue until you've done 20 - 30 sets like this or until you can no longer do sets of 3 and drop to only a double.

YOu'll have a nice pump and that sense of deep muscle stimulation / onset of soreness. Don't plan on talking to anyone for these 20 min. or so.

I can feel a deep pump/burn already!

low reps give a totally different pump, kinda like more of a deep tendon pump. Along with that comes a different kind of sore....I like it! It takes me back to my powerlifting days!

sonds good but I'm to new in my current cycle and lifting think it may hurt my tendons...but soon would love to try this!

sounds similar to the 100 rep workout KR and MM do, just a different path to the 100

3 at a time for 30 sets equals 90 reps, so it's close and the weight is heavier to
