I started taking aldactone for my contest this week and was wondering when it says don't take in extra potassium does thi smean to avoid food like cauliflower and brocoli that have about 250mg per serving.
I'd def. stay away from bananas or anything with potassium. Aldactone is a potassium sparing diuretic. You can have some heart problems if you take in excess K when you're water levels are low. Be carefull and smart if you want fiber like from broccoli then get some oatmeal or something else that doesn't have K.
