Is it possible to be big and be a runner?

That is, can a big, well-developed guy also run marathons?
It seems like most serious body builders shy away from a lot of cardio training. Is it possible to focus on endurance training and still be big or do you have to train for one or the other?

Just curious.....

No, they probably do more than Athletes in other Sports when training for a Competition. Most Bodybuilders don't Run because it's puts too much trauma on the knee's.

I run about 4 miles every day on the treadmill iin the morning. Later that evening I do my workout. Been doing the the same thing for years with many different people. I also play sports and thats the main reason why I do cardio with weight training.

I wouldn't say marathons. I know a guy who ran the 800 meters and he was pretty big. Also, sprinters are a fairly good size. But not marathons.

I was 254 pounds and I was running about 6 to 9 miles every other day. At the time I was only taking clen, t-3 and halo. It really helped keep fat off and it sharpened my abs. My knees suffered a bit so I opted to run on grass.
