DEA and prohormones...

A buddy of mine works at a supplement shop in Florida and he told me that the DEA came in and took all their powdered prohormone stuff all the shelves and left them with a notice stating why and what legislative measure allows them to do it. Anyone else heard of this?

The store my buddy works at carries many HMG and VPX products too. He said as of March 1st they aren't allowed to carry the powdered prohormone supplements anymore. I thought this was still in the legislature though and was going to happen later on this year.

Not sure but he said he was given paperwork that stated the bill that was passed hat allowed them to confiscate them and who passed it in the legislature.

Presser made a post he got from somewhere just recently and it stated that prohormones would be taken off the market if the manufacturers couldn't prove they were safe. What doesn't make sense is how could they prove they're safe or dangerous without extensive studies? The manufacturers aren't going to shell out money for that the gov't should have to do it first before they just take it off the shelves.

man this is a new one on me, i didnt think they had the right to just yet, can u get this paper work bro or atleast some parts of it and post it up

Yeah I'll email my friend and ask if he can mail it to me b/c I know he doesn't have a scanner or a digital camera to email it to view.

being that they mentioned the legislature to your friend, that sounds like a state of Florida issue rather than the national info we've been seing in the media. But I thought federal agencies could only enforce federal laws...I know for sure that local cops cant enforce federal laws, they would call the federal agency that handles the problem, atf, dea batf, etc.

I think alcohol, tobacco, food additives, and pollution should be confiscated too! they are dangerous and dont have extensive tests to determine if they are safe. why is this allowed and prohormones not? I already know the answer to this, but its all bullshit.
have your friend get an attorney, its not legal to consificate something and not charge him or have a legitimate resaon for doing so.
the atf doesnt go into tobacco stortes and get cigarettes and tell them if they are not determined safe then they cant sell them..its all bullshit!!
