I've got bad joints and my last attempt to solve it I believe is ADEQUAN, that vet drug I've been recently reading about.. does anyone know where I can get it? (overseas pharmacy or anything)? please p.m. me

i know we had a topic on it not long ago, try a search on the site bro i think it was mentioned where to buy it from

I finally used Adequan.....miraculous! If your injury/joint problem isn't cartilage-related, it won't do much for you. There is one of the 2 main online pet pharmacies that don't require a prescription....both domestic. If you want my dosing schedule, email me.

I had both menisci in my left knee pretty worn down (mucoid degeneration). I feel so good right now. I can't say enough good things about it.

BTW there are human clinical trials going on now with it, and the therapeutic dose is 1.5mg/Kg I believe. I used a bit more than that. Two 5mL 100mg/mL vials should be all you need. Get the canine, as it contains a preservative to allow the vial to be multi-use.

shit, i just got 2 of the horse IM type. IS this a problem? I thought only the horse intra articular type was single use...

Horse is multi also. Shoot 100-250mg twice a week for 4 weeks.........Should be a vial per week. Four vials total.

Holy shit......4 vials in 4 weeks? I have used 1 vial in 4 weeks with good results and I am currently doing this for the second time. If its working why up the dosage, I would think 4 small Aquadian cycles would be better then 1 large cycle?

I think he posted in error but lets see what he says when he writes back. I tracked my pack and have 2 bottles of adequan waiting at home for me when i get off work. I was under the impression it was alot more than 100mg/ml but will see this evening.

No I didnt post in error, but if your joint pain isnt severe one vial would do the trick.......Whne I looked into the product I looked for optimum dose and researched it quite extensively.....I found the optimum dose for tissue rebuilding to be 500mg weekly. Two 250mg shots per week=4 vials. Consider the fact that some like myself have extensive tissue degenration from many years of abuse. Adequan will rebuild and replenish this wasted tissue with great result.

Sure you will have results with 100mg per week but remeber severity of damage influences how you go about your dosing.

I have some info posted on underground freaks......i'll repost here.

Yeah I would love to see that info. I'm just saying that 100mg is working for me and at this rate I think most if not all the damage may be gone after another 2 cycles.

A: How does it work?

Q: FAST ACCESS TO THE JOINTS: Beneficial levels of Adequan are already at work in all major joints within two hours after intramuscular injection, with even greater uptake (up to 73% higher) in joint tissues that are inflamed or diseased. LONG-TERM EFFECTS: Adequan relieves the pain and disability of joint damage, and the relief has been shown to last up to 6 months or longer. BREAKS THE DESTRUCTIVE CYCLE: Adequan binds to damaged cartilage and boosts cartilage metabolism, facilitating repair processes. At the same time, it blocks the action of destructive enzymes that promote joint inflammation, break down the synovial fluid, and attack the cartilage. RENEWS THE JOINT FLUID: Adequan stimulates the synovial membrane to manufacture new synovial fluid to replace the thin, degraded fluid of joint disease. By doing so, Adequan helps lubricate, nourish, and clean the cartilage.
-------------------------
Q: How is adequan taken?

A: Intramuscular injection
---------------------------
Q: How much should I take?

A: 250mg Twice per week for four weeks is recommended. 100mg twice weekly will still yield result and is a good starting dose to asess tolerance.
-----------------------------
Q: What are the side effects?

A: Possible sides include injection site pain, diahrea, Deppresion and abnormal bleeding. The most frequent side effect being Site injection pain. Side effects where self limiting, mild and transient and seen in less than 1.8% of human and animal subjects treated.
-----------------------
Q: How long will it take to see results with Adequan?

A: You may see significant improvement by the second or third injection and maximal benefits are seen after the entire, eight-injection treatment course is completed. In clinical studies, 78.5 percent of Human and canine that responded to Adequan were still improved six months later. But if you are tempted to stop therapy as soon as you see the first signs of improvement, think again. To achieve the maximum benefits of blocking cartilage destruction and stimulating joint repair processes and lubrication, make sure you receive the entire eight-injection series

Pentosan is another option:

Pentosan Polysulphate Sodium is an Osteo-Arthritic drug used in dogs, 7 out of 9 canines see VERY DRAMATIC improvement. It can be injected sub-q, intramuscular, OR, locally. It appears to possess some very effectual direct anti-inflammatory activity. Due to its ability to inhibition lytic enzymes, and by increasing synovial fluid viscosity/volume, it acts synergistically with most other chemistry intended for soft tissue repair. Though this means preventative value, pentosan also significantly stimulates chondrocytes while increasing the biosynthesis of proteoglycans, as well as possessing strong fibrinolytic activity (joint matrix parts & pieces and repair activity). USUALLY SOLD UNDER THE VET NAME Catrophen Vet or Pentosan.

Im sure it did work for you at that dose.....It's great stuff and many people have used it with great success. I think a good addition is regular use of MSM, glucosamine and chondroitin to keep the cartiilage rebuilding a continuos process.......The 500mg weekly is for Maximal benefit which also means lower dosages may also work for you.

this time around I am using glucosamine and chondroitin along with it. I started the glucosamine and chondroitin 2 weeks prior to the Aquadian and will continue it 2 weeks after. My knee is pain free and im happy. :D

need advice!

I most definitly have joint pain. how do you know if it's cartilage or tendon related? I had x-rays which were normal, and I can't afford an MRI.
adequan sounds really good , but if it won't help, what will?
I've taken enough msm, chodrotein glucosamine to float a boat, and it didn't help much either.

thanks!
