Ive been bulking for about 1 week now and have yet to gain more than .5 lbs how and hardly and muscle i worked out 3 times last week doing triceps, biceps, and chest

Tricep- Weighted sitdown tricep dips 4x10
Dips- 4x10
tricep extensions-4x10

Bicep- Preacher Curls- 5x10
Standing Barbell Curls-5x10

Chest- Bench- 2x10 1x8 2x6
pushups-3x50 (my chest has been the most improved)

My question is how long to I see some results obviously i shouldn't see results at one week of bulking but how long should it take to see some results?
 
Way to much sets and reps.

Once you have your muscles warm, do 3-4 sets of heavy weights I do advise that you get a competent spotter. Rep range 3-8 and it would mean struggle to get to the 3rd or 8th rep.

To gain mass you must go heavy!!! Stay with basic lifts.
 
believe it or not it what you don't do that will make you bigger....at 120 lbs you need to be moving the most weight possible for only say 4-6 reps IMO. Rest, you build muscle when your outta the weight room bro. When i bulk up i stay at 4 sets for 4-8 usually but i am 200lbs and 5'9''...you said your 120 lbs so my best advice is to eat the shit outta the proteins and well...anything you can get your hands on...try to get 2 grams of protein per body pound...chicken, tuna, eggs fish, tuna chicken, eggs, fish!!!!! Cant say it enough, without the food you ain't got shit my man.
 
At 120#(no dis) I dont know how much you been lifting but make sure you give some time for your tendons and ligaments to get stronger before going to to heavy,which is easy to do on roids.

takes years to see huge changes man... it always makes me laugh when people start workin out like 2 weeks before spring break thinking they are going to make any changes to their physique in that amount of time, LOL

your workout plan has serious flaws...

basically your only working 10% of your skeletal muscle

the human body does have alot of muscle groups bro... for example: Quads, Lats, calves, hamstrings, deltoids, traps, etc...

When most people start lifting, all they tend to do is arms and chest like you have been doing...

then after awhile you learn that u must work out each muscle group around 1-2 times per week...

doing this is when you start to see the bigger changes...

The best gains will come once you figure out your body and proper nutrition and how your body responds to heavy training such as squats and deadlifts, etc...

its a long journey, and a week is nothin man
