Help with unique situation

I have a kind of unique situation, and to explain, I'll need to give a little bit of history, but I'll try to be brief.

I stated in my introductory post that I have gone from 130 to 190 lbs. That gain has come over the period of the last eight years, and I'm now 35 years old. I was able to get to 150-155 naturally. When I got married about 4.5 years ago, I was diagnosed with low hormone levels. I studied up on the effects, etc. before I agreed so that I'd know what I was in for (I've also been to a urologist). I have been on hormone replacement since then and will probably be on it for the rest of my life, and because I have a medical need, insurance pays for it (nice, huh?).

So thus gives me a unique situation (kind of). I am on testosterone cypionate 1.5 cc, biweekly. At one point earlier, I was on 1.5 cc every week, but my doctor being conservative after a blood test decided to make it every two weeks. Due to the half-life of this particular steroid, I get a decent level that quickly declines in about 7 days. The problem is that normal levels of hormone are in the range of 300 - 1200 nanograms or whatever the unit is and I go from just over 1200 on the high side down to about 129. I feel that I should be back on every week because I feel better and have better results with my training and more confidence in my everyday dealings when I have it every week. (Once when there was a shortage, I was on Android--methlytestosterone which worked pretty good too.)

Besides having a normal sex life, etc. I like the results I see from bodybuilding. What I would like to do is this: At the very least, I would like a new prescription that is 1.5 cc every week. I get a 10 mL vial, 200mg/cc normally. I'm also interested in trying out some alternatives because sometimes it is really hard to stick myself with that needle, plus cypionate is an androgen so I am really hairy now too--I want to reduce effects like that. People get 30 day supplies/samples of Viagra and Cialis to try out, so why not steroids if you have a medical neccessity for it? I am willing to take recommendations.

If there is anyone on this forum who is a doctor (or someone who knows a doctor that will help) and is willing to help me get really big, I would like to correspond with him/her either via e-mail or by phone (send me a private message). I do have a medical neccessity and legal right to have a prescription, and you can get information from my doctor about my condition if necessary. I would also appreciate any information on how to maximize my gains while on what I have now.

Many thanks, Tchau,

(I'll post progress pics as well.)

Tony,

I don't believe any doctor will be able to assist you on testostorone replacement therapy without you being a patient and I have yet to see anyone who was on a replacement therapy receive anything but Test Cypionate.

Steroids unlike Cialis and Viagra is a Schedule III drug and all scheduled drugs upon being dispensed is reported to the state's Narcotics unit which oversees the dispensing of these drugs. They watch doctors and patients.

Since you are under medical care at this time what has your own doctor said?

I used to go to a urologist, but my insurance carrier changed, and that doctor was not with the new carrier. I've continued my care with my family practice doctor, and the last time I talked to him, he wanted to refer me to another urologist to change the dosage. He wasn't willing to change it himself, even though I told him what I felt.

For those of us who have to be on replacement, having steroids classified under Schedule III is ridiculous. We have to go through too much trouble just to have a normal life. I don't care if they require prescriptions, but I think that to have steroids on Schedule III is dumb, though I'm only speaking from my experience.

My pharmacist said there were other drugs that could be used in place of Test Cypionate, which was why I had the Android when Upjohn had a shortage of cypionate. It was nice not having to do the injections (I've never got used to them, even after nearly five years). My family doctor did authorize that one.

It would be nice to find a doctor who is a little more informed and can push the limits of the law. I know the DEA watches, but if you're doing it legally--well, you're doing it legally. Maybe someone who knows more about the legal side can tell us how far you can go--legally.

or.......................you can get a second script from a dr who knows nothing about the first drs script, very possible and legal for the most part, however you prolly will not be covered by insurance on the 2nd script as you will get caught this way, their are loads of hrt clinics around who can send u scripts legaly after u send blood work

just a thought

Tony,

I totally agree with you!!!

This what I have been saying all along. The Govt aka Big Brother has everyone scared...even doctors from doing their job to the best of their abilities for fear of being arrested.

If I am not mistaken try getting a mag like Muscle Fitness and look in the back, classifieds there are some adds for online services which possibly can help you one I believe is Medica online.
