I KNOW IT SUCKS, it's like racial profiling but towards bodybuilders. i can see it now, muscle heads getting pulled over for no other reason except for being bigger than the cop that pulled him/her over. I think those f***ers in washington are jealous of us. they are probrably worried we are going to start taking their wives away from them.

Ok we hafta make a pact... if creatine is banned, we all move to mexico!

I can speak some spanish, so its all good... :D

No doubt about it creatine is in the cross hairs. They are trying to blame it for liver failure in a few idiots that took it by the pound.

I read about it somewhere on the web but I can't remember.

If we go to Mexico can I bring my wife and six kids?

Actually the medical industry uses creatine supplementation in some cancer victims, AIDS, etc.....

If they try to ban creatine the public backlash will hang some politicians.

BTW----

The FDA approved a cholesterol drug-Baycol-that is directly involved in killing well over 100 people. There is a class action lawsuit against the drug maker. The FDA did pull the drug a year ago or so. My dad was taking this shit...fortunately he is okay.

So ......if we use the current mentality....banning anything even remotely dangerous...then perhaps we should ban the FDA since they approved a drug that is directly responsible for killing over 100 fellow Americans?

Sounds damn good to me.

Mexico is good by me, there isn't any IT work left in the US anyway. May as well move where it is sunny. BTW, there is a great article in this months Muscular Development about life in Mexico, and the easy availability of "supplements" (and senoritas!)

creatine is an amino acid it will not be banned. just prohormones or any other thing that could be replaced by prescript drugs.

Peace

no, creatine is not an amino acid

Creatine is a nutrient derived from the amino acids arginine, glycine and methionine. Since it is made from aminos I would say that it is "protein" in nature.

it doesn't matter. they'll ban whatever the hell they want. there are countries where protein is banned. i doubt that the situation ill ever come to that though but creatine is banned all ready n some places and i can def see this gov't taking the axe to it. it's so funny when you compare it to cigarettes and even alcohol.

Yeah, where the hell is protein banned? Antarctica? You can't survive w/o protein.

Is creatine banned in any countries yet? If they keep moving their way up the biosynthetic pathway, pretty soon they'll be banning all carbon-based compounds.

lmao, thats to funny anyhow yeah creatine is banned in other countries already, as for whey being banned thats news to me and pretty sad if its true

ya know what I think it was lol, i sen it posted someplace last year, not sure where though, not sure it was even true but i member prohormones were banned there as well so i figured if they were then creatine prolly was as well

How do you like that irony. Kovacs, probably one of the biggest Canadians, is known for promoting MuscleTech products, which consist mostly of prohormones and creatine products....and they originated in Canada too.
